AFARM
Chairman Shri Pramodji Deshmukh has given the assurance of his guidance and
support to strengthen and improve functioning of charitable organisations in
drought affected Marathwada Region. He was feliciated at Masod by different 97
organisations from Hingoli, Parbhani and Nanded Districts on his election as
AFARM Chairman. These NGOs have been involved in rebuilding tasks in different
sectors.
During the
seminars held at the gathering, AFARM Programme Manager Shri Vijay Goud has
given in-detail guidance on proposal making, submission of audit report to the
Charity Commissioner, correspondence with Government Departments, planning and
execution of soil and water conservation projects under Jal Yukta Shivar Yojana
and making quarterly, half-yearly and annual report of NGOs.
Sole aim of
AFARM is to co-ordinate various NGOs in their task of providing drinking water
and extending agriculture services to villages in drought affected Maharashtra.
